ARM FERROUS

ARM’s ferrous metals interests are held through wholly-owned ARM Ferrous which, in turn, has a 50% holding in Assmang Limited, a long-established miner and processor of metals for the world's steel industries. The remaining 50% of Assmang is owned by metals trading group Assore Limited, which handles the operational and marketing sides of Assmang.

Beeshoek Iron Ore Mine: Both North and South mines are opencast operations. The ore is mined from various different pits. This is ideal for selective mining and in-pit blending to provide ore to meet customer specifications.
A crushing, washing and screening plant processes the run-of-mine product. A jig plant has been installed to beneficiate off grade ore, which has extended the life of the mine.
